The Nurse Practitioner under the supervision and direction of a physician in the Pediatric department and the APP director will provide care for pediatric patient population. The provider will work in collaboration with other physicians within the group to provide continuous and comprehensive management of a global range of personal health services for the patients in Pediatric Primary Care at WakeMed- including the medical care, primary teaching and or coordination of follow up services with other disciplines as needed. The Nurse Practitioner will deliver competent medical care to an age specific population including infants, children, adolescents ( birth to 21 years). The position may also allow the APP to  function as an educator and preceptor for students from health care programs. The provider must understand the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of WakeMed Physician Services. The position is supplemental/part time for our Raleigh Campus location , it will include every other Saturday and potentially one day during the week.

2 Years Nursing - Related Area Required

Master's Degree Nursing Required - And Doctorate Nursing Preferred

Registered Nurse And Certified Nurse Practitioner And Board Certification in Area of Practice And Basic Life Support And Pediatric Advanced Life Support Required
