Position Information:
The Supervisor of Clinical Administrators and the Capacity and Transfer Management center assists with managing the day-to-day operations of both departments working collaboratively with the Manager to assist in supervision coordination education and management of nursing personnel to ensure consistent standards of practice and competencies in the delivery of patient flow services and administrative nursing support throughout the system. Maintains clinical competency and serves as resource to staff of both departments; as well as serving as a resource to the physician and nursing leadership of WakeMed. Collaborates with physicians nursing members of the interdisciplinary team PFS Patient Access and other departments to ensure that services are being provided in a timely/quality manner and act as a resource when resolving barriers. Assists the Manager in leading the Clinical Administrator and Capacity and Transfer Management center by providing oversight and assures continuity and maintenance of services by acting as the liaison between both teams and system manager. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission vision values and management of patient care services and assist to lead the department with the organizational values set as a priority.
Experience Requirements:
7 Years Clinical - Acute Care Required - And 1 Year Management - Direct Area of Responsibility Required
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required - And National Certification in Nursing Required
Hours of Work:
Nights
Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
