Position Information:
The Service Line Executive Director - Psychiatry, along with the Physician Executive Medical Director, works closely with physicians, staff and senior level executives on the following priorities: 1) Expertise in Operations 2) Human Resources 3) Proficiency in Financial Planning 4) Strategic Forecasting and 5) Physician Relations. This position involves developing educational programs, allocating and assigning duties to the site managers, and monitoring the activities and operation of all the business units' components to ensure they are meeting their objectives/goals. The Service Line Executive Director - Psychiatry has the ability to exercise a high degree of initiative judgment and discretion and decision making abilities to achieve optimal organizational objectives. The Service Line Executive Director - Psychiatry has the autonomy and responsibility to provide support and leadership for due diligence regarding acquisitions and divestitures. This includes collaborating with physicians to address a variety of concerns such as: practice management, patient billing business unit(s) issues, information systems expansion and maintenance program development, and providing quality patient care. In addition the Service Line Executive Director - Psychiatry is responsible for engaging the practice(s) in a variety of marketing events for business promotion.
Experience Requirements:
5 Years Management - Direct Area of Responsibility Required (Psychiatry Practice Management)
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration Or Finance Required - And Master's Degree Healthcare Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Medical Practice Executive Preferred
Hours of Work:
M-F 0800-1630
Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
