Referral Representative
About WakeMed:
Position Information:
The Referral Representative under minimal supervision is responsible for ensuring that all appointments tests procedures and surgeries are scheduled in a timely manner; that all required referrals and authorizations are in place per practice/system procedures and that registration information is complete and accurate. Position serves as a liaison for practice with patients departments healthcare providers and insurance companies. The Referral Representative is part of a multifunctional team charged with the responsibility of provider efficient and process access.
Experience Requirements:
1 Year Administrative Required
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Associate's Degree Business Administration Preferred

Hours of Work:
Monday- Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm Friday 7:30am-12:30pm
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
