Position Information:
**Clinical requirement will be 0.50 (part time)**
WakeMed Health & Hospitals located in Raleigh, NC is seeking a part-time, BC/BE Psychiatrist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional mental health care at our Center of Community Health and Primary Care Clinic. The Center for Community Health provides coordinated, holistic care to some of the Raleigh area's most vulnerable residents while engaging community partners to study, learn, and work together to reduce health inequities. Services provided at our Center include: Psychiatry, Primary Care, Trauma Therapy, Community Case Management, Homeless Engagement Assistance & Resources, and Transitional Health.
WakeMed serves a diverse patient population and embraces a recovery-oriented and trauma-informed approach to care. You will join us during an exciting time of growth as we expand our services to include inpatient bed capacity and collaborative care. This strategic hiring initiative aims to enhance the Mental Health & Wellbeing department’s expertise and clinical services, furthering its commitment to providing exceptional psychiatric care within our community
