Position Information:
The Physical Therapist provides physical therapy services by evaluating patients establishing and implementing effective treatment plans with functional treatment goals providing patient education and therapeutic intervention/activity programs and educating in use of assistive devices. Position is responsible for observing evaluating and documenting the results of treatment interventions and modifying age-appropriate treatment plan accordingly.  The Option 4 Physical Therapist will work in all of the following settings of care: Acute Rehab Services (Raleigh/Cary) Rehab Hospital Outpatient Rehab and other sites as assigned. Populations served include stroke spinal cord injury brain injury other neurological issues as well as post-surgical orthopedics cardiac multi-trauma and debility for both adult and pediatric populations. This position is in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool and has minimum shift availability requirements per calendar year.

Experience Requirements:
2 Years Clinical - Physical Therapy Preferred

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Physical Therapy Required - And Master's Degree Physical Therapy Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Physical Therapist Required - And Maintain Vehicle Operator Insurability Preferred

Hours of Work:
Varies 7am-5:30pm

Weekend Requirements:
As Needed
