Position Information:
The Anatomic Pathology Services Manager is responsible for the successful operation of this combined service area of the laboratory and at all WakeMed facilities that require anatomic service support. This position will have responsibilities for all anatomic services within the WakeMed system. This includes all facilities and the following disciplines: Cytology Histology and Autopsy Services. Responsibilities will include effective selection and management of supervisory personnel technical personnel and customer service personnel. Responsible for financial management of expenses and labor quality assurance/CQI regulatory affairs to include CAP CLIA JCAHOHIPAA and others training and education of staff and development of an excellent customer service delivery for Anatomic Services system wide.
Experience Requirements:
4 Years Management - Direct Area of Responsibility And 5 Years Clinical - Clinical Laboratory Required
Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Life Science Required - And Master's Degree Business Administration Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification Required
Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
Call Requirements:
