Position Information:
The Imaging Tech Assistant performs a wide variety of tasks including clerical technical and patient focused care related to helping departmental technologists. Tech Assistant is responsible for working with the departmental technologists preparing imaging equipment pre procedure set-up assisting with patient transport and transferring patients to exam table and getting rooms ready for future imaging exams. The Tech Assistant will be trained to operate a variety of equipment patient movement devices and computers. Imaging Tech Assistant reports to Imaging Services Supervisor.
Experience Requirements:
3 Months Healthcare Preferred
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And College Courses Radiologic Technology Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification Required
Hours of Work:
Mon - Thur 10:30am - 9pm
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
Call Requirements:
No
