About WakeMed:
The Adult MedSurg Critical Care Clinical Pharmacist will practice as the clinical lead the Raleigh Campus STICU and NCCU. The MedSurg ICU Clinical Pharmacist will round with a multidisciplinary ICU team to provide comprehensive medication management for adult ICU patients. This position is predominantly consists of daily rounding in the STICU and/or NCCU, every 6th weekend, and includes administrative shifts for QI projects. The MedSurg Critical Care pharmacist position requires a close and effective working relationship with other departments in the health system; supports and leads clinical initiatives implemented in the system; and assists with staff education and clinical training for ICU pharmacy team members. They will serve as the pharmacist lead for all corresponding committee meetings. They are responsible for precepting PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents.

Position Information:
The Pharmacist provides pharmaceutical services safely accurately and timely by reviewing physicians orders dispensing drugs and providing drug information to other health professionals according to established procedures.

Experience Requirements:
3 Years Clinical - Pharmacist Preferred - And/Or 1 Year Fellowship/Internship/Residency - Related Area Preferred

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Pharmacy Or Doctorate Pharmacy Required

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Licensed Pharmacist Required

Hours of Work:
7am-3:30pm

Weekend Requirements:
Every Third

Call Requirements:
as needed
