Cardiac Sonographer
About WakeMed:
Position Information:
The Cardiac Sonographer performs echocardiograms of patient's anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology. They must demonstrate proficiency in the use of ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the structures of the cardiovascular system in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures.
Experience Requirements:
1 Year Clinical - Ultrasound Preferred
Education Required:
Graduate Cardiac Ultrasound Required - Or Associate's Degree Cardiovascular Sonography Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Or Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Required - And Basic Life Support Required
Hours of Work:
Mon - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
