Position Information:
The Team Leader Medical Assistant performs all duties of the Medical Assistant. The Team Leader Medical Assistant supports the leadership to ensure consistency and competence in facilitating Medical Assistant new hire orientation training and job responsibilities. The Team Leader Medical Assistant will demonstrate knowledge of and provide training in Medical Assistant clinic workflows standard processes provider directed patient care and in accordance with WakeMed policies and procedures. The Team Leader Medical Assistant models adherence to the standards of care approved protocols and standing orders. The Team Leader Medical Assistant seeks educational resources and learning experiences to achieve and maintain currency in the area of practice. The Team Leader Medical Assistant will communicate effectively among clinical staff and physicians.The Team Leader Medical Assistant must be available for flexible scheduling able to work in various locations and comfortable with change. The Team Leader Medical Assistant understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission values and management of WakeMed Physician Practices.
Experience Requirements:
1 Year Clinical - Ambulatory Care Required
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified Medical Assistant Or Registered Medical Assistant Required
Hours of Work:
M-Th 645-515, F 645-315
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
