Position Information:
The Patient Account Representative in the Therapy Services Supplemental Pool provides staff coverage at various locations throughout the inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation network during vacations vacancies and leaves of absence. This position is responsible for ensuring that all necessary actions are taken to obtain the most complete insurance coverage and reimbursement. Position is accountable for admission registration precertification and charge entry functions for related inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services.
Experience Requirements:
6 Months Customer Service Required - And 1 Year Healthcare And/Or Accounting/Finance - Third Party Payors Required
Education Required:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Associate's Degree Business Administration Or Related Field Preferred
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Not Applicable
Hours of Work:
Monday-Friday 7am-5pm, Must be able to travel to all outpatient rehab sites.
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
