WakeMed is currently seeking physicians with training in both coronary and peripheral interventions to join our established group of over 20 physicians in Raleigh, NC. Peripheral skills must include below the knee interventions and critical limb ischemia. Additional year in fellowship dedicated to vascular training or years of experience with peripheral interventions preferred. Candidates interested in Structural opportunities not being considered at this time. Our team provides comprehensive care and management of cardiac and vascular conditions offering an unsurpassed level of care, pioneering breakthrough procedures, around the clock cath lab capabilities.
Our providers are board-certified in a wide range of specialties, including general cardiovascular disease, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and vascular ultrasound. We also have experts in device implantation and peripheral vascular intervention. This position supports WakeMed’s growing division which includes general cardiology, EP, Complex Arrhythmia, advanced heart failure, vascular disease, structural heart and cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. WakeMed has 567 acute care beds and handles over 287,000 ED visits and more than 17,000 cardiovascular procedures per year.
