The Supv, HIM Operations - Document Scanning is responsible for the processes of the HIM department including prioritizing, scheduling, assigning and reviewing work to include, but not limited to prepping, scanning, quality control, validation, release of information. The supervisor ensures all workflows place the patient at the top of the pyramid, and that workflows/departments operate within CMS, TJC regulations/standards. Creates, monitors, audits, and provides reports on employee productivity and quality, data integrity issues and functions. Assists in testing, implementation, training and documentation of any new technology, polices/procedures or processes. Participates in the development and implementation of goals and objectives as well as policies and procedures; makes recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; monitors work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. Participates in the selection of staff; provides or coordinates staff training; works with employees to correct deficiencies or performance improvements; mentors, coaches, and develops staff for higher performance. This is not a remote position; on-site presence is required.
2 Years Electronic Medical Records And Leadership In Healthcare Required - And Release of Information Preferred
Associate's Degree Health Information Management Or Bachelor's Degree Health Information Management Required
Registered Health Information Administrator Or Registered Health Information Technician Required
