Due to area growth we have an outstanding career opportunity in our 200+ bed state-of-the-art facility located in our modern Cary, North Carolina hospital. Obtaining recent Level III Trauma Center Designation makes this an even more dynamic role for the surgeon seeking a top tier position within their profession.
Expectations are a blend of inpatient and ED management with general and trauma patients including call once every 5-6 nights. Additional opportunities for elective surgeries are available.
We also provide a potential for Trauma Directorship and starting a Surgical Critical Care program in an established medical-surgical ICU currently covered by Medical Intensivists.
Support will be available from at least 5-6 additional general, specialty or acute care surgeons in the group, some of whom are Cary based and others who rotate from the main Raleigh based WakeMed facility (which is a Level I Trauma Center). With one of the top APP programs in the country; experienced APP support is readily available and core to the success of this team. #LIPOST
