Pasteurization Technician (supplemental, weekdays 8a - 4p)

The Pasteurization Technician performs functions necessary to assist the milk bank in providing safe, efficient, and cost-effective donor human milk services. Utilizes requisite equipment, aseptic technique, donor milk processing supplies and computer systems as appropriate for the procurement, receipt, preparation/milk processing and/or dispensation of donor human milk. Performs quality control procedures and contributes to the maintenance of the milk bank, equipment and supplies. Assists in training new employees and/or students in the theoretical and operational aspects of procedures. Performs other duties as assigned. Must achieve required technical skills as mandated by milk bank accrediting body (Human Milk Banking Association of North America).
1 Year Related Position Experience Or 1 Year Healthcare Required
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - Or Bachelor's Degree Accredited Institution Required In Lieu of Experience
ServSafe Food Handler Required - Within 6 Months of Hire
