Position Information:
The Litigation Paralegal provides a wide range of legal support to attorneys in the Legal Affairs department.  Duties vary from day to day, but typically include organizing and maintaining litigation files; assisting with discovery responses; arranging for witness interviews; communication with outside counsel; preparing correspondence and responses to subpoenas; reviewing powers of attorney, surrogacy, adoption and guardianship documentation; managing the litigation hold process; preparing responses to medical board and nursing board requests; and special projects assigned by attorneys.  Key relationships include the Associate General Counsel - Claims and Litigation and the Claims Analyst.

Experience Requirements:
2 Years Related Position Experience Or No Experience Required Required - With Required Licensure/Certification

Education Required:
Associate's Degree  Required - And Bachelor's Degree  Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Required In Lieu of Experience

Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday

Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
