The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work under the supervision of the Medical Director of Maternal Fetal Medicine and other physicians within the group to provide up to date competent medical care to diabetic OB patients. This patient group will include T1DM, T2DM, prediabetes and gestational diabetics from the WSG Ob/Gyn practices and other private practices. In the near future, the NP will see MFM consults when requested at WakeMed Raleigh Campus, WakeMed North and WakeMed Cary. The NP understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values and management of WakeMed Physicians.
