Position Information:
The Medical Laboratory Scientist I performs routine and specialized laboratory tests and other procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Utilizes requisite equipment, instruments, and computer systems. Evaluates and reports patient results using considerable independent judgment within the scope of established testing methods. Performs quality control procedures and contributes to the maintenance of the laboratory, equipment, and supplies. Assists in training new employees and/or students in the theoretical and operational aspects of procedures. Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Requirements:
2 Years Clinical - Clinical Laboratory Preferred
Education Required:
Associate's Degree Medical Laboratory Technology Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
American Society for Clinical Pathology And/Or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification Preferred
Hours of Work:
Monday - Friday 4:00pm - 12:00am
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
