Position Information:
The Cardiac Sonographer performs normal and abnormal cardiovascular anatomy/physiology and pathophysiology and must be able to demonstrate proficiency in the use of Ultrasound equipment to visualize and record quality images of the structures of the cardiovascular system in accordance with established guidelines and departmental policies and procedures. Understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values and management of the division of Cardiovascular Services

Experience Requirements:
1 Year Clinical - Ultrasound Required - And 1 Year Clinical - Pediatrics And 1 Year Clinical - Cardiology Preferred
Education Required:
Graduate Cardiovascular Sonography Required - Or Associate's Degree Nursing Or Associate's Degree Radiologic Technology Required
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer Or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Or Certified/Licensed/Registered in Field of Practice Preferred
Hours of Work:
8-5 Monday- Friday
Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
